Answer:let the width be x

Then length = 3x

As rectangle each angle is 90°

By pythagoras theoram

H²=p²+b²

Where h is diagonal and p and b are width and length

Hence

7²=(3x)²+x²

49=9x²+x²

10x²=49

X²=4.9

X=2.22 (approx)

Hence width = 2.22

And length = 6.66
