let\: length \: of \: the \: room = l \\  \\ given \: breadth \: of \: the \: room = b = 10m \\  \\ since \: room \: is \: in \: the \: rectangular \: shape \\  \\ therefore \: perimeter \: of \: the \: room \:   \\  = 2(l + b) \\  \\ therefore \: according \: to \: question \\  \\ 2(l + 10) = 44 \\  \\  =  > l + 10 =  \frac{44}{2}  \\  \\  =  > l = 22 - 10 \\  \\  =  > l = 12 \: m
Therefore length of the room is 12 m.

Hey Mate,

Given,

Width = 10 m

Perimeter = 44 m

Perimeter of the Rectangle = 2 ( Length + Width )

=> 44 m = 2 ( Length + 10 m )

=> 44 m = 2 Length + 20 m

=> 44 m - 20 m = 2 Length

=> 24 m = 2 Length

=> 24 m / 2 = Length

=> Length = 12 m

Therefore, the length is 12 m.
