Answer is24cm        step= let AD be radii =13 CD be distance from chord=5 AC be half chord AB be chord  ABsquare=.ACsquare+ADsquare...(by phyth. Gorus thm)    13spuare=5square+ACsquare               169=25+ACsquare     ACsquare=169_25 =144 therfore AC=12  but. AB=2AC =2*12=24
