Answer:

perimeter=2(lxb)

so,

given perimeter is 880

and breadth is 88

finding length

then

880=2(lx88)

880/2=(lx88)

440=lx88

l=440-88

l=352

ANS. length of rectangle is 352

\sf{\huge{\underline{\red{Given :-}}}}

  • The perimeter of rectangle is 880 m.

  • The breadth of rectangle is 88m.

\sf{\huge{\underline{\green{To\:Find :-}}}}

  • The length of a rectangle.

We know,

The Perimeter of Rectangle =2(Length + Breadth)

The perimeter of rectangle is 880 m. (Given)

➝ 880 = 2(Length + Breadth)

Let the length be x,

The breadth of rectangle is 88m.

➝ 880 = 2( x + 88)

➝ 880 = 2x + 176

➝ 2x = 880 - 176

➝ 2x = 704

➝ x =  \cancel{\dfrac{704}{2}}

x = 352

Hence , The length of a rectangle 352m .
