Answer:

LENGTH = Area÷breadth

given values

Area=440 cm (square). breadth= 20 cm

440 {cm}^{2}  \div 20 cm = 22 cm

Our length is 22 cm

Now we have to find perimeter so

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+B)

=2(22+20)

=2(42)

=2×42

=84cm

perimeter is 84cm

In context to question asked,

We have to determine the perimeter as well as the length of the rectangle.

After analyzing the data,

We get to know that,

It is given,

Area of rectangle =440\:cm^2

Breadth of rectangle = 20 cm

As we know that,

Area of rectangle =l \times b= 440

Let the length of rectangle be = x cm

Hence, length of rectangle

l\times 20=440\\=> l = \frac{440}{20} = 22\:cm cm

As we have,

Perimeter of rectangle =2(l+b)

So, putting the value of "l" and "b" we will get,

Perimeter = 2(l+b) = 2(20+22) = 2\times 42 = 84\:cm
