 Let \: length \: of \: a \: side \: of \: a \: square \\= a \: metre

 Area \: of \: the \: square = 50 \: m^{2} \: (given)

 \implies a^{2} = 50 \: m^{2}

 \implies a = \sqrt{ 50 \: m^{2}} \\= \sqrt{ 2 \times 5 \times 5 \: m^{2} } \\= 5\sqrt{2} \:m \\\approx 5 \times 1.414 \\\approx 7.07\: m

Therefore.,

 \red{ Side \: of \:the \: square } \\= 5\sqrt{2} \: m \\\green { \approx 7.07\: m }
