196 m square= side square

root both

area \:  \: of \:  \: square \:  \\  =  {(side)}^{2}  \\let \:  \: each \:  \: side \:  \: of \:  \: the \:  \:  square \:  \: be \:  \: x \\  =  > 196 =  {x}^{2}  \\  =  >  \sqrt{196}  = x \\  =  > x =  |14|  \\  =  > x = 14
Therefore each side of the square is 14m.
