 {h}^{2}  =  {b}^{2}  +  {p}^{2}

 ({2 \sqrt{3} )}^{2}  =  { \sqrt{3} }^{2} +  {p}^{2}

12 = 3 +  {p}^{2}

p =  \sqrt{9}

p = 3

the length of altitude is 3
