Find the length of an arc with a radius of 10.0 m swept across 100 degrees

Arc is the part of the circle enclosed between the end points of the two radii.

Here the formula used shall be  \frac{\theta}{360}2 \pi r

Now  \theta = 100^{o}

 r=10m

Substituting the values we get

Length of arc

 \frac{\theta}{360}2 \pi r

 =\frac{\100}{360}2 \pi 10

= 17.45 m

The length of an arc with a radius of 10.0 m swept across 100 degrees is 17.45 m
