Q. Find the length of an equilateral triangle having side 2a.

Answer :

We know that,

Equilateral triangle is the triangle in which all the sides are equal.

Given :-
side = 2a

length of the equilateral triangle = Perimeter
= side + side + side
= 2a + 2a + 2a
= 6a

Perimeter = 3×side (in equilateral triangle)
= 3×2a
= 6a


Hence,
length of an equilateral triangle = 6a
