Answer :AC is a diagonal

AB =15 cm

Bc=20cm

By using Pythagoras theorem

AC (sq.)=Bc (sq.) +AB(sq.)

AC(sq.)=15(sq.)+20(sq.)

AC(sq.)=125+400

AC(sq.)=525

AC. =525

AC=25cm

Hence, Diagonal is 25cm

Hope it helps you

Answer:

let ABCD is a rectangle

and AC &BD are two diagonal

rectangle make an angle which is 90

so,

use Pythagoras theorem

 {(ac) }^{2}  =   {(ab)}^{2}  +   {(bc)}^{2}

 {ac}^{2}  =  {15}^{2}  +  {20}^{2}

ac =  \sqrt{225 + 400 }  \\ ac =  \sqrt{625 }  \\ ac = 25

then

diagonals of rectangle are equal

AC=25CM
