Correct Question :-

Q) Find the length of each of the equal sides of the isosceles triangle if perimeter is 30 cm and unequal sides is 8 CM

Solution :-

Let the length of one equal side of an isosceles triangle be x

As we know that,

Perimeter = Side + Side + Side

Here ,

Perimeter of isosceles triangle = 30cm

The length of unequal side = 8cm

Put the required values,

30 = x + x + 8

30 = 2x + 8

30 - 8 = 2x

22 = 2x

x = 22/2

x = 11

[ An isosceles triangle having two sides equal and having two angles equal ]

Hence, The length of equal sides of isosceles triangle is 11cm and 11 cm.
