Answer:

Area of the rectangle = l*b

Area = 13.6 * 3.4 = 46.24

Therefore area of the square is = 46.24

Area of a square = X * X= 46.24

Therefore X* X = 46.24

therefore X = √46.24 = 6.8 cm

therefore length of each side of the square is = 6.8 cm

Answer:

6.8 cm

explanation:

Here ,given

length and breadth of rectangle is 13.6cm and 3.4 cm .

#find area of rectangle= l×b

= 13.6 ×3.4= 46.24cm^2

Now, a/c to question

=>area of square = area of rectangle

= (sides)^2= 46.24

=x^2=46.24

=x=46.24

=x=6.8cm

hence, the length of each sideof the square is 6.8 cm
