\mathfrak{\large{\underline{\underline{Answer :-}}}}

The side of the Square is 6.8 m

\mathfrak{\large{\underline{\underline{Explanation :-}}}}

Given :

The area of Square = Area of Rectangle given.

Length of Rectangle = 13.6 m

Breadth of Rectangle = 3.4 m

To find :

The Measure of the side of Square

Solution :

As It is given that :

\sf{Area \: of \: Rectangle = Area \: of \: Square}

First find the area of Rectangle.

We know that :

Area of Rectangle = \tt{Length \times Breadth}

\tt{\implies} \: 13.6  \times 3.4

\tt{\implies} \: 46.24

The area of the Rectangle is 46.24 sq.m

Now, the area of the Square would be also = 46.24 sq.m

Consider the Measure of the side as x

Area of Square = \tt{Side \times Side}

\tt{\implies} \: x \times x = 46.24

\tt{\implies} \:  {x}^{2}  = 46.24

\tt{\implies} \: x =   \sqrt{46.24}

\tt{\implies} \: x = 6.8

\therefore The side of the Square is 6.8 m

\mathfrak{\large{\underline{\underline{Verification :-}}}}

\tt{\implies} \: 6.8 \times 6.8 = 46.24

\tt{\implies} \: 46.24 = 46.24

\therefore The side of the Square is 6.8 m

Answer of the question ↓↓

It's simple, find the area of Rectangle then it would be equal to the area of the square.

Rectangle's area = 13.6 × 3.4

==> 46.24 m²

Now, find the square root of 46.24 as square's area = side²

==> √46.24

==> 6.8 m

. ' . The side of the square is 6.8 m
