hypotenuse=✓[base^2+perpendicular^2]

= ✓(36+64)

= ✓100=10

(side)²+ (side)²= (hypotenuse)²

(6)²+(8)²= (hypotenuse)²

(36)+(64)= (hypotenuse)²

(100) = (hypotenuse)²

hypotenuse= √100

hypotenuse= 10
