The longest rod that can fit is from one vertex to another vertex which is diagonally opposite to it.
Thus, its length will be
√(10²+10²+10²)= 10√3

since, diagonal of cuboid is
 \sqrt{3 {a}^{2} }
where a is the side of the cuboid

so, the longest rod can be fit in a cubical room is given by

10 \sqrt{3}  = 10 \times 1.732 = 17.32m
