Answer:

(i) Length = 24.5 m

Breadth = 18 m

∴ Area of the rectangle = Length × Breadth

= 24.5 m × 18 m

= 441 m2

(ii) Length = 12.5 m

Breadth = 8 dm = (8 × 10) = 80 cm = 0.8 m [since 1 dm = 10 cm and 1 m = 100 cm]

∴ Area of the rectangle = Length × Breadth

= 12.5 m × 0.8 m

= 10 m2

Answer:

Hence, value of length of side of equilateral triangle will be 4.2 m

Step-by-step explanation:

In context to question asked,

We have to determine the length of side of equilateral triangle.

As per question,

We have,

Perimeter of triangle = 12.6 m

As we know that,

  • All the sides of equilateral triangle are same.
  • The perimeter of equilateral triangle can be determined by adding the length of all the sides.

As we have,

Formula for determining the perimeter of equilateral triangle as,

Perimeter = side +side +side = 3 \times side

So, for determining the value of length of equilateral triangle,

We will put the value of perimeter of triangle given in the question in above formula,

Thus we will get,

Side = \frac{Perimeter}{3}\\=>Side = \frac{12.6}{3} = 4.2\:m
