Distance from the center=9 Cm

Cons. :

Join the center point to the One end of the chord

Draw A Line Perpendicular to the chord to the center of circle

Sol:

H^2+B^2=Hy^2

B= Half of the chord because a perpendicular to Center Divides it into half

Hy= the radius of the circle

=>9^2+12^2=Hy^2

=>81+144=(radius)^2

=>225=(radius)^2

radius=15 Cm
