Given :

OB = 3cm

OC = 4cm

To find :

Length of side of rhombus

Solution:

Diagonals of a rhombus bisect each other at right angles

So, in ∆ BOC ,

BC^2 = OB^2 + OC^2

BC^2 = 3^2 + 4^2

BC^2 = 9 + 16

BC^2 = 25

BC = √25

BC = 5 cm

Hence, the length of each side of rhombus = 5cm

Additional information :

According to Pythagoras theorem,

Hypotenuse^2 = Base^2 + Perpendicular^2
