Find the length of tangent form a point 15cm away from centre of a circle of radius 9cm

In a right angled triangle,

By Pythagoras Theorem

(H)²=(B)²+(P)²

(15)²=(9)²+(P)²

P²=144

P=12

The length of the tangent=12cm
