Answer:

Side = 3√3

Altitude of equilateral triangle = Side × √3/2

= 3√3 × √3/2

= 9/2

= 4.5

Hope it will help you.✌️

Given :-

length of the side of an equilateral triangle = 3√3cm

formula to find area of an equilateral triangle = √3s²/4

where s is the side of the triangle.

therefore area of the triangle = √3(3√3)/4

= (3 × 3)/4

= 9/4cm²

also formula to find the area of a triangle is 1/2 × b × h

where b is the side of the triangle and h is the altitude of the triangle.

➡ 1/2 × b × h = 9/4cm²

➡ 1/2 × 3√3 × h = 9/4cm²

➡ h = 9/4 × 2/3√3

➡ h = 9/(2 × 3 × √3)

➡ h = 3/2√3

by rationalizing, we get

h = √3/2 cm

hence, the altitude of the triangle is √3/2cm
