LET AB be the Altitude.

=> AC^2 = AB^2 + BC^2

=> 11^2 = AB^2 + 5.5^2

=> AB^2 = 11^2 - 5.5^2

=> AB^2 = 121 - 30.25

=> AB^2 = 90.75
