Area = (1/2)( b )(h) …… 27 = (1/2)(b)(2b-3) …. 2b^2–3b-54 = 0

Usinf Quadratic formula, a=2, b=-3 and c=-54 …. b=(3+/- SqRt((9–4(2)(-54))/4 ….. where “b” = (3 +/- 21)/4 where “b” = +6.0cm and -4.5cm(discard).

Subst: (1/2) (6) (9) = (1/2)(54) = 27

Triangle will have a 6cm base and a 9cm height.
