It's simple
Given, Two sides of rectangle i.e, Perpendicular = 15 cm and base = 8cm
We also know that, each angle in a rectangle = 90°
Hence, by using Pythagoras Theorem, we will find hypotenuse .
So, Hypotenuse^2 = Base^2 + Perpendicular^2
=> H^2 = 8^2 + 15^2
=> H^2 = 64 + 225
=> H^2 = 289
Or H = √289
=> H = 17 cm
Hence, Hypotenuse (Diagonal ) = 17cm
