We have,

Length = 20 cm

Breadth = 15 cm

Let the Diagonal of rectangle be x

Find the length of Diagonal of a rectangle :-

(Diagonal)² = (Length)² + (Breadth)²

=> x² = (20)² + (15)²

=> x² = 400 + 225

=> x² = 625

=> x = √625 = 25

Hence,

Length of Diagonal of rectangle is 25 cm

Answer:

Since, ABCD is a rectangle so

the diagonals AC and BD are the same in length.

Draw AC, the diagonal.

Now, We have ∆ADC ,an right angled triangle.

So Using Pythagorean property-

(AC) ² = (AD) ² + (DC) ²

(AC) ² = (15)² + (20)²

(AC) ² = 225 + 400

(AC) ² = 625

AC = √625

AC = 25

i.e. the length of each diagonal of the given rectangle is 25m.
