Find the length of the diagonal of a square of side 6cm

Use pythosgorous therom
6^2=side^2+side^2
36=2x^2
36÷2=x^2
square root of 18=x
x=4.24

as you know that each angle of a sq is 90 so by drawing a diagonal we get a sq .
so each side is of 6cm and let the name of diagonal AC
(Ac) sq=6 sq+6sq
(AC) sq=36+36
(AC)sq=72
Ac=√72
AC=6√2 cm
