We know that circumference of the circle = 2$\pi$ r

(where r is the radius of the circle)

⇒ 2$\pi$ r = 44

⇒ 2 *$\frac{22}{7}$ * r = 44

⇒ 44 * r = 44 * 7

⇒ r = $\frac{44 * 7}{44}$

⇒ r = 7cm

Since radius is 7 cm Diameter = 2 * radius = 2 * 7 cm

= 14 cm
