Given that circumference of the circle is 44 cm

We know that circumference of the circle = 2 \pi r

(where r is the radius of the circle)

⇒ 2 \pi  r = 44

⇒ 2 * \frac{22}{7}  * r = 44

⇒ 44 * r = 44 * 7

⇒ r =  \frac{44 * 7}{44}

r = 7cm

Since radius is 7 cm Diameter = 2 * radius = 2 * 7 cm

= 14 cm
