to find hypotenuse, we will use pythagorean theorem

which is

h^{2} = p^{2} + b^{2}

where h= hypotenuse

p= perpendicular

b= base

given is perpendicular and base as 7 and 24

so,

h^{2}= 7^{2}+24^{2}

h^{2} = 49+576

h^{2} = 625

h= \sqrt{625}

h= 25
