base of a triangle = 12cm

perpendicular of a triangle = 9cm

so,

hypotenus = √(base) ² + (perpendicular) ²

=√(12)² + (9)²

= √144+81

=√225

=15cm

Answer:

a {}^{2}  = b {}^{2}  + c {}^{2}

a {}^{2}  = 144 + 81

a {}^{2}  = 225

a = 15

length of hypotenuse = 15
