Pythagoras theorem :- (Hyp.)^2 = (1st side)^2 + (2nd side)^2

x^2 = 9^2 + 12^2

x^2 = 81 + 144

x^2 = 225

x = \sqrt{225}

x = 15

Answer:

15

Step-by-step explanation:

by Pythagoras theorem

12^2 +9^2 = x^2

= 144 + 81 = x^2

= 225= x^2

= √225 = x

= 15 = x

° The length of the hypotenuse is 15
