longest length of pole = daigonal of rectangle = under root ( h² + r² + l²)

under root( 12² + 8² + 9²)
under root (144 + 64 +81)
√289
= 13

vatsal14: 17 ×17 =289
yrd: ok thanks

Answer:

The right answer  is L=17 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Given length l = 12 m

breadth b = 8 m and height h = 9 m

Length of longest pole = √(l² + b² + h²)

=√(12²+8²+9²)

= √(144 + 64 + 81) m

= √289 m

= 17 m

= 17 m therefor the longest pole
