Answer:

The length of perpendicular drawn from point P on A  is 5 unit

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

The points A = 3 , - 4 , 5

i.e  x_1 = 3

    y_1  = - 4

   z_1     = 5

As we know,

On z-axis  , x = y = 0

So, The new points A (0 , 0 , 5 )

i.e  x_2  = 0

     y_2  = 0

      z_2  = 5

Now,

The length of perpendicular drawn from point P on A = Distance between points P and A

So, Length = \sqrt{(x_1 - x_2)^{2} + (y_1-y_2)^{2}+(z_1-z_2)^{2}   }

Or,   Length = \sqrt{(3-0)^{2}+(-4-0)^{2}+(5-5)^{2}   }

Or,  Length = \sqrt{9+16}

∴    Length = √25

i.e  Length = 5 unit

Hence, The length of perpendicular drawn from point P on A  is 5 unit Answer
