then the breadth will be (x-0.8)

then the parameter will be

2{x+(x-0.8)}

so

2(x+(x-0.8))=8

2(x+x-0.8)=8

4x-1.6=8

4x= 8+1.6

4x= 9.6

x= 9.6/4

x= 2.4

so the length is 2.4cm and breadth is (2.4-0.8)=1.6cm

∵ Length > Breadth
