Answer:

perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

30 m = 2(l+b)

30÷2 = l + 10

15 = l+ 10

15 - 10 = l

l = 5 m

To find : area of rectangle field.

Given : Perimeter = 30 m and breadth = 10m

Solution :

  • According to question we are given that perimeter and breadth of  rectangle  is  30 m and 10m respectively. We have to find length of rectangle.
  • To find length we use following formula -

        Perimeter of rectangle = 2 (length + breadth )

  • Substituting the values we get,

           30 = 2 ( l + 10 )\\30 = 2l + 20\\2l = 30 - 20 \\l = \frac{10}{2}  \\l = 5 m

Hence, length of rectangle is 5m.
