Answer: let the length be l

given,

breadth=12 cm

perimeter=68 cm

as we know that the perimeter of the rectangle is 2(l+b)

therefore,

2(l+b)      =68

l+12        = 68/2

l+12        = 34

l              = 34-12

l              = 22 cm

therefore, the length of the rectangle is 22 cm

Answer:

the length of the rectangle is = 22 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

The breadth of the rectangle is = 12 cm

And the perimeter of the rectangle is = 68 cm

Now we have to find the length of the rectangle,

Now we know that the half of the perimeter of the rectangle is = length of the rectangle+ breadth of the rectangle

Now the half of the perimeter of the rectangle is = 68/2 = 34 cm

So, the length of the rectangle is

= half of the perimeter - breadth

= 34 -12 = 22 cm

So, the length of the rectangle is = 22 cm
