Answer:

Breadth of a rectangle = x let

Length of the rectangle= 2x

Area = 288cm^2

x ×2x= 288cm^2

2x^2 = 288

x^2 = 288/2

x^2 = 144

x = √144

x = 12

Breadth = 12 cm

Length = 2×12cm

= 24cm

Given :

  • Breadth of Rectangular Field is 24 cm .
  • Area of Field is 288 cm² .

To Find :

  • Length of Rectangular Field .

Solution :

\longmapsto\tt{Breadth=24\:cm}

Using Formula :

\longmapsto\tt\boxed{Area\:of\:Rectangle=l\times{b}}

Putting Values :

\longmapsto\tt{288=l\times{24}}

\longmapsto\tt{\cancel\dfrac{288}{24}=l}

\longmapsto\tt\bf{12\:cm=l}

So , The Length of Rectangular Field is 12 m ..

VERIFICATION :

\longmapsto\tt{288=length\times{breadth}}

\longmapsto\tt{288=12\times{24}}

\longmapsto\tt\bf{288=288}

HENCE VERIFIED

  • Area of Rectangle = length × breadth
  • Perimeter of Rectangle = 2(l+b)
  • Diagonal of Rectangle = √(l)² + (b)²
  • Area of Square = (Side)²
  • Perimeter of Square = 4 × Side
  • Diagonal of Square = √2a (a = Side)
