Area of the square = 1/2 × (digonal)^2

= 1/2 × 10^2

= 1/2 × 100

= 100/2

= 50 sq.cm

We know that √Area = Side of the square

So the length of the side

= √50 sq. cm

= 5√2 cm

Therefore, the side of the square is 5√2cm
