Given,

Diagonal of Square = 10 cm

As if we divide a square by Diagonal then it is form into two right angled triangles.

Let the side of Square = a

=> a^2 + a^2 = d^2 ( from Pythagoras Theorum).

=> 2a^2 = (10)^2

=> 2a^2 = 100

=> a^2 = 100/2

=> a^2 = 50

=> a = √50

=> a = √5 x 5 x 2

=> a = 5√2 cm

Hence, the length of Side of Square = a = 5√2 cm
