i) Ans:- 8cm.

ii) Ans:- 6cm.

iii) Ans:- 9cm.

Explanation:

(i) We know that, all the sides of a square are equal.

This implies, a + a + a + a = 32 (where 'a' = side of the square)

or, 4a = 32

or, a = 8cm.

(ii) We know that, all the sides of an equilateral triangle are equal.

This implies, a + a + a = 18 (where 'a' = side of the equilateral triangle)

or, 3a = 18

or, a = 6cm.

(iii) We know that, all the sides of a regular pentagon are equal.

This implies, a + a + a + a + a = 45 (where 'a' = side of the regular pentagon)

or, 5a = 45

or, a = 9cm.
