Find the length of the tangent from a point at distance of 5cm from the center of the circle of R=3cm

 \sqrt{25 - 9}  =  \sqrt{16}  = 4

Answer will be 4cm
Because tangent will form right angle to the the radius. So radius ^2+(length of tangent)^2= 5^2
