radius of circle = base of triangle  (BC)

the distance from point A = 5cm... (AB)

let ,  length AC = X cm

APPLYING PYTHAGOREAN THEOREM,

AC^{2}  =    AB^{2} + BC^{2}

=> X^{2}  =  5^{2}  + 3^{2}

=> X^{2}  = root of 25 + 9

=> X = 4cm
