tangent = t = ?
radius = r = 5cm
distance = d = 13cm
so
t ² = r²-d². (Pythagoras thereom)
t² = (5)²-(13)²
t² = 25-169
t² = 144
t = √144
t = 12cm
radius = r = 5cm
distance = d = 13cm
so
t ² = r²-d². (Pythagoras thereom)
t² = (5)²-(13)²
t² = 25-169
t² = 144
t = √144
t = 12cm
