As per the data given in the question,

As per question,

it is given that,

Perimeter of the triangle = 42.4 cm

As we know that,

Equilateral triangle are those triangle, in which the measurement of all the sides are equal.

So, the perimeter of equilateral will be sum of all the sides of triangle.

So, let the length of side = x.

So, perimeter will be =(x+x+x) = 3x

Hence, now putting the value of perimeter in above expression,

We will get the length as,

3x = 42.4\\=>x=\frac{42.4}{3}\\=>x = 14.1333\:cm

Hence, side of equilateral triangle will be 14.133 cm.
