The length of this figure is given , let us find its breadth .

Length of this rectangle = 20 cm

Breadth of this rectangle = b

Area = 400 sq.cm

To find the breadth =

= l × b = 400 cm

= 20 × b = 400 cm

= b = 400 ÷ 2

= breadth = 20 cm

Therefore , this figure is a square with it's all sides having an equal measure of 20 cm .

So Length of the rectangle

 length=  > ( \frac{area}{breadth} )unit

l \:  = ( \frac{400}{20} )cm

l = 20 cm

check:-

Area = length × breadth

A = (20 × 20) unit²

A = 400 cm²
