We know that,

→ h² = p² + b²

Where,

  • h denotes hypotenuse.
  • p and b denotes the remaining sides i.e., 12cm and 35cm.

So,

→ h² = 12² + 35²

→ h² = 144 + 1,225

→ h² = 1,369

→ h = √1,369

→ h = 37cm.

Hence, the hypotenuse is 37cm.

Answer:

we know that according to phythogras therom

side^2+side^2=hypotenuse^2

 {12}^{2} + {35}^{2} = {x}^{2} \\ 144 + 1225 = {x}^{2} \\ 1369 = {x}^{2} \\ \sqrt{1369} = x \\ x = 37
