Heya!!!

================================

Let ABCD be the triangle with sides 8cm and 15cm and BD be the diognal.

Now consider triangle BCD formed in the rectangle.

We know ,

BC = 8cm
CD = 15cm

So , Pythagorus theorem can be used here ti find length of the diognal BD asangle C is right angled.(all anges of rectangle are 90°)

There fore ,

Pythagorus theorem 》》

Sum of square of legs = hypotenuse square

= BC^2 + CD^2 = BD^2

BD^2 = 8^2 + 15^2

BD^2 = 64 + 225 = 289

BD = Root of 289

BD = 17cm = length of the diognal

HOPE IT DOES AID YOU BUDDY!
