The point which is equidistant from the coordinate axes are , (x,y) and (-x,y), (-x, -y) and (x, -y).

We have to find that curve which passes through all these four points.

Distance from x axis to each of these point = x

Distance from y axis to each of these point = y

Distance from Origin to any of these point

Squaring both sides

 x² +y²=r²

Which is a Circle.

So,equation of locus is a circle .
