find the lowest common multiple of 8 ,12 and 20

Now,

8 = 2 × 2 × 2

12 = 2 × 2 × 3

20 = 2 × 2 × 5

So, lcm (8, 12, 20)

= 2 × 2 × 2 × 3 × 5

= 120

Multiples of 8 = 8, 16, 24, 32, 40, 48, 56, 64, 72, 80, 88, 96, 104, 112, 120
Multiples of 12 = 
12, 24, 36, 48, 60, 72, 84, 96, 108, 120
Multiples of 20 = 20, 40, 60, 80, 100, 120

So LCM is 120.
