Here is the answer you were looking for:
m - m -  \frac{1}{2}  = 1 - m -  \frac{2}{3}  \\  \\ m - m + m = 1 -  \frac{2}{3} +  \frac{1}{2}   \\  \\ m =  \frac{1 \times 6 - 2 \times 2 + 1 \times 3}{6}  \\  \\ m =  \frac{6 - 4 + 3}{6}  \\  \\ m =  \frac{5}{6}
