Given that:-

SP= Rs. 1800

Discount = 10%

To find the value of MP,

As, we know that,

SP = MP - discount

Discount = 10% of MP

=>1800 = MP - \frac{10}{100} × MP

=>1800 = 0.9 MP

MP = Rs. 2000

The value of MP is Rs.2000

As per data given in the question,

We have to determine the value of MP.

As we know that, MP which is known as Market price, is the price which is listed on the item.

From the question,

We have,

SP = Rs. 1800

Percentage discount = 10%

We know that,

SP = \frac{100-\%d}{100}\times MRP\\=> 1800 = \frac{100-10}{100}\times MRP\\=> SP \times \frac{100}{90} = 1800\\=> MRP = 1800 \times \frac{100}{90}\\=> MRP =Rs.\:2000

Hence, MP of the product will be Rs. 2000
